My poor blog!
I feel like I haven't really been present around here in weeks. Life lately has been tricky and filled to the brim with both of my boys starting school next week, Gage for the first time ever. On top of that we've been trying to squeeze every last minute of fun out of what's left of Summer vacation. Oh and did I mention that I'm the Creative Activities Coordinator for our town's area MOPS group this year? I've had to do lots of planning and meetings to get ready for the new MOPS year, so that's kept me busy as well, but in a very rich and fulfilled way. Oh yeah, and I got a job too (I'm lucky enough to work from home!). When I said that life's gotten tricky, I wasn't kidding!
I'm hoping that come Monday, with the boys both occupied during the day that things will slowly start to even out as much as they can. Life has always been exciting (yeah, that's the right word) around here, and it's going to be quite a shock to my system to have them both gone all day.
Anyways, enough complaining! Let's talk about Mother's of Preschoolers (MOPS for short). Do you have one where you live? If you do, why oh why are you not a part of it? I'm not going to sit here and tell you all about what it is because you all know how Google works, but I will tell you that it's incredible and that I can't picture my life right now with it and the amazing friends I've made there. In fact, last weekend was our MOPS summer picnic, where our entire families got to go and have a great time.
Even though life is busy right now, we're having lots of fun. And those smiley little boys up there make it all worth it.
