I want to be a walking collection of stories someday, so that my boys will never forget where they came from or will never think to question where they're going. I want to be one of those people who can glance at the pages tucked away in an old photo album and stir up some dusty memory of a time far away. Maybe the memory will be mine, or perhaps it will belong to the pages of our ancestors or written in the pages of a history book, but it'll be worth sharing all the same.
I want to tell stories like the master story teller, Jesus. His stories were provocative and invited reflection. His love for us could be found in each word he uttered. That's the kind of story teller I want to be.
