It's been cold here in the mornings and during the night. Like really cold. Like in the 40's cold. I love everything that has to do with Autumn, but I'm just not ready for the nice days to end. As the sky gets darker earlier and earlier and the wind whips harder and harder, I feel like I'm grasping as straws to keep the summer alive in our neck of the woods.
Anyways, we embraced our inner Fall-ness this past weekend and headed out to the New Germany Craft Festival here where we (read: the boys) visited the clowns, got balloon animals, made sand art, and ate snow cones. Then they both proceeded to whine while I walked around and looked at all of the crafts, but that was to be expected.
Snow cones aside, here was their favorite part of the day.
Perhaps I need to let go of the Summer of 2010, because if this was the kick off to Autumn then I'd say it's going to be pretty sweet indeed. And anyways, I have some pretty cute sweaters that need to come out of hiding.
