I Am Thankful

(I'm doing my obligatory Thanksgiving post today rather than tomorrow. Why? Because tomorrow Brayden will officially be 8 years old, and he gets the day on the blog all to himself, even if it is a holiday.)

I am thankful for my personal relationship with Jesus.
I am thankful for the joy that my boys bring into my life each and every day.
I am thankful that we live in a house full of laughter and love.
I am thankful that I have a hardworking and honest husband.
I am thankful for all of my amazing friends who never fail to make me smile.
I am thankful for my amazing home.
I am thankful for the opportunity to attend a warm and welcoming church.
I am thankful that I'll never have to worry about where my next meal is coming from.
I am thankful for clean drinking water, something so many of us take for granted.
I am thankful for the ability to bow my head in prayer any time I need to spend a moment with God.

I am thankful for a lot of different things, each deserving their own bit of celebration. In my life I've learned not to take a single second for granted, because there may not be another one. Every smile, every ring of laughter, even every tear is a blessing.

I'm so grateful for all of the blessings that I have in life. And starting this evening, we will celebrate them all.

Happy Thanksgiving!
