Today marks new journey for Brayden as he is off to the second grade. There will be a environment, new things to learn and discover, a new teacher, new friends, and a new schedule.
Today is also the beginning of another year of mornings and afternoons home alone with just Gage and I while Brayden is off at school and Mike is off at work.
Things will change today and we'll have to adapt once again.
I remember everything about the 2nd grade. I was in Mrs. Adams' class at WT Cooke Elementary School in Virginia Beach, Va. My best friend at the time was a girl named Tiffany and nothing was more prized than my New Kids on the Block cassette tapes and my Beverly Hills 90210 t-shirt. I hope that when Brayden looks back at his year in the second grade he'll be able to do so fondly and remember (and laugh over!) the quirks of that particular year of his life.

Look how cool he looks :) I don't really remember a lot about the second grade. I remember kindergarten and first...and third but second is kind of a blur! I hope Brayden gets some awesome memories out of this year :)
aww! so, how did it go?? did he come home happy? how about that mommy-gage time??
