This, That, and What's in Between

If this picture doesn't make you smile, then I'm not sure we can be friends ... just sayin'

Today is Brayden's last official day as a 1st grader. His mom is wondering where the time has gone, while I'm sure he'll be excited and flying high as a newly official second grader.

Tomorrow is Friday, and it's supposed to rain ... again. The boys have barely gotten to use their new little swimming pool. Too many hot days mixed with too many rainy days make for two sour little kiddos and one nerve wracked mommy.

15 more days until I'm on vacation, sitting my bum on the beach with my feet in the Atlantic Ocean. Oh who am I kidding, I'll be chasing kids the entire time, but at least I'll get to do it some place scenic and sandy.

Next on the agenda is more Coptic bound journals for the shop. When I first started out on this venture making them I loved it. Unfortunately now (thanks stupid parathyroid disease and sore muscles and bones) making them hurts my hands. While I still love making them, they are getting made far and few between.

I know what you mean about the time. I still remember the day my nephew was born and next year he's hitting the second grade and my niece is hitting the first. I don't blame you for being excited about time out on the beach. WOO HOO. That stinks that you aren't able to make as many of those journals as you'd like :( I guess that will make them even MORE special!

That child is just too cute! I'm jealous of your trip! Sounds amazing! Sorry about your aching hands in crafting land...the pain we endure for Etsy is sometimes too funny (and sad)!

It sounds like your vacation is much needed. I hope the next 15 days go by quickly. Sitting in the sand sounds so nice :)
