Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday

Today: is mine and the Mr's anniversary. Eight years and two children later, we are still madly in love with one another. And tonight, we're ditching those children for dinner at the Olive Garden. Don't worry, there will be a blog post about all of that to come. I'm thinking another wedding Flashback Friday is in order.

Tomorrow: is Wednesday. I should probably do the laundry at some point tomorrow. I probably won't.

Yesterday: an ice cream truck came down my road. I didn't even know that we had an ice cream truck in the general area, yet alone one that drives down my middle of nowhere road. Well, technically him driving down here was a fluke because the guy inside said he was lost ... but still, the family all ran outside to the road once we heard the magical bells of the ice cream truck in the distance. I haven't seen an ice cream truck since I was a little girl growing up in Va Beach, Va. It was amazing.

Also, the cards for Project: Snail Mail have officially been sent out. So if you emailed me your address be on the lookout. The response I had to this was amazing and more than I ever dreamed of when I took on this little endeavour of mine. There is a stack in the mailbox right now, waiting for the post man, and a stack of international ones went to the post office yesterday. I'm so humbled by the response, and excited to see just how far this will catch on.

And if you are new to this blog, or meant to send me your address but didn't get to do so, it's not too late!! The mail man comes to my house six days a week, so you're in luck!

Our street gets regular visits from a nostalgic ice cream truck. It blasts calliope music to annouce its arrival. One day, I'm on the phone with my friend Polly when the truck passes by, and she starts screaming, "Oh, no! Oh, no! Hide! Your neighborhood is being invaded by evil clowns!" So now, every time the truck passes, my family members all look at one another and say quietly, "evil clowns."
