Bits and Pieces

Ok Ok, I know, I've neglected my blog lately. Its been a busy week here! Brayden is playing little league now and that takes ALOT of my time. Unfortunaltly his opening game day game was cancelled thanks to the terrential downpour we had yesterday, but theres another one tommorow!

The weather here has been so wonderful that I just dont have to urge to sit cooped up in the house in front of this computer lately. So but of course I'll have to include a few pictures of my purdy tulips and hyacenth that I bought on clearance after Easter. Gotta Love Lowes!!!



In other news next week I have a meeting with an editor from a local magazine here who would like to hear about etsy and my little buisness ventures!! -Yay! How exciting! There's the possibility of some serious local press looming around this and I'm stoked!!

And I of course also have to give BIG thanks to Marisa of Elegant Snobbery for this blog post of hers from a few weeks ago. Awhile ago I sumbitted an application for Trunkt and was turned down, heartbroken, and my confidence and faith in my craft was severly shaken. Well, Marisa inspired me to give it another go and try again, and after much weighing back and forth I submitted an application and was accepted this time. Yay, I have a Trunkt portfolio!! ... in some strange way I feel almost validated now :-)
