Today: The kiddos are home from school, in service day. It's a four day weekend with President's Day. Today was low key: lounging on the couch, dinner in the crock pot, Mario on the Nintendo 3DS. These are the days that make me smile.
Tonight: Mike and I get a date night! It's the MOPS and POPS Valentine's Day dinner. The boys are going to their grandma's house for a sleepover while Mike and I get to go hang out with friends and be romantic and all that jazz.
Tomorrow: Who knows. I'm thinking a trip to Sam's Club is in our future, but really I can barely plan for today let alone tomorrow. I'm more of a fly by the seat of your pants kinda gal.
Recently: I just bought some an amazing assortment of papers, embellishments, and journaling cards from Two Peas in a Bucket for my Project Life album. I can't wait until they get here, I'm itching to get back to work on my book.
Reading: This book that I got at church on Sunday. It's incredible. You should read it too.
Fan: an enthusiastic admirer. In the Gospels, Jesus never seemed too interested in fans. Is that how you define your relationship with Him? An "enthusiastic admirer"? Close enough to Jesus to get the benefits but not so close to require sacrifice? He was looking for followers. Not just any follower though, but a completely. committed. follower. How would things change if you lived as Jesus lived, and loved the way He loved? Maybe you’re ready to join the hundreds of people who have stepped across a line and said: I am not a fan.
Loving: The beautiful flowers my hubby brought home on Valentine's Day, the big ol' mug of Green Mountain Nantucket Blend coffee (with a splash of caramel creamer if you must know) that I had this morning courtesy of my lovely friend, Suzy, my warm and fuzzy red slippers.
Dreaming of: Spring
*Also, I opened the comments back up on the blog. I feel like I've been in a weird transition lately, trying to figure out what exactly I want to do with this space. I realize that I've alienated most of my followers, and I apologize for that, but I needed to take some time for me. I still don't have the direction that Oh Mandie is going in figured out, but opening this space back up feels right.
