If you were to know me personally, which at this point I think my regular readers pretty much do, then you might know about my personal battles with anxiety. As a result of that I've not only become a gigantic hermit, but I've also turned into an introvert.
Blogging is my therapy. It's a journey I'm taking to document the milestones and important events that occur in my life and the lives of my husband and children. It's my boys scrapbooks. It's spiritual journey. It's my journal. It's my cookbook. It's my small way of sharing and encouraging through my own life experiences. It's my release.
There are these seemingly small events that happen in all of our lives that seem so special and amazing at the time. Events that we want to document and remember. Events that we usually end up forgetting. Blogging has helped me to slow down and capture life's small moments. With this blog I can leave a digital footprint that shows exactly who I was when those moments occurred. I'm leaving something for my children, who will hopefully gain insight into the kind of person that I am. I want my children to know me and know me well. I'm not sure there is any tool better suited to do that job outside of blogging.
