Big City Drawing

When Mike and I got married we both decided that we would spend a week in New York City for our honeymoon. This was obviously before we had kids and valued relaxation at all.

We were a broke couple just starting off, so a fancy honeymoon to some tropical location wasn't really feasible for us, and being from two very small towns we thought that we would experience big city living for a few days.

If you've ever been to NYC you probably know that there are street artists everywhere. On sort of a whim we thought that it would be fun to have a caricature. At the time, it was scarily accurate.

Oh wow! Thats a really good drawing! I've never been to NYC, and I agree...now that we have kids, it sounds like the LAST place on earth I'd wanna be! A beach would be perfect! Haha!

Oh I had one of those done at the fair once, but I have no idea what happened to it :(

I love it! I haven't been to NYC since I was 11. You were brave to do the whole caricature thing. I'm afraid to think what mine would look like.
