This time last year my house was filled with little fluffy kitties. Our cat, Percy (named adoringly by Brayden after the train on Thomas and Friends) got outside ONCE and came back knocked up. I suppose cats need some action too.
Anyways, those little adorable fluff balls would turn up anywhere and everywhere, but slept at night under the bunk beds in the boys' bedroom together in a big kitty ball.
I miss them. With our cat plus the four kittens we just had too many pets and they had to go to other good homes that would give them the love, cuddles, and attention that they deserved, unlike here where two little boys liked to carry them around and terrorize the poor things. So away they went, much to my dismay.
Not long afterwards Percy got out once again, that craft little cat. Only this time she came back sick. She refused to come inside the house and laid behind our shed outside meowing and not moving. We went out to check on her a little while later to find her dead. In a matter of a few weeks our house went from being full of lovable kitties to being pet-less.
The children were told that she went off to live with her kittens, but we were just not ready to love another new kitty. I miss those little fluff balls, who I'm sure aren't so little anymore.
Perhaps it's time for a new feline addition to our family. Now for the hard part ... convincing my husband so.

Sweet little cuddle balls of fur. I'm glad we've haven't had any kitty mommies around because I'd never be able to part with a single one...and my hubby would throw me out with them!!!
aww... poor percy!! probably a good thing not to tell your boys what happened!!
hey, if you ever want a Manx (tail-less cat)... my mom is going to be breeding hers the next time she comes in heat! What a fun cat! i always thought they were weird... but my mom's cat has the most fun personality ever! (just a suggestion since we are both in PA!) :)
So sad :(
They were adorable little kitties though.
AW :( That is so sweet, and heart-breaking, all at the same time!!
I'm so sorry! I had a sickly kitty who died a year and a half ago and I still miss him every single day. I spent a fortune on him over the years and I'd do it all over again if I could have him back.
Now I have 2 little chihuahuas.
