Tagged. My Life in a Survey

Alrighty ... all of you folks out here in blogger land can thank Miss Marisa of Elegant Snobbery for this blog post. She tagged me and now I have to fill out this great big long survey all about me. And seriously, I'm not that interesting.

What is your current obsession?
Real Simple Magazine. I just love it. There is just nothing better than crawling into bed after a long day and reading and planning all kinds of new projects and meals. Oh, and Cheese Its. YUM!

What are you wearing today?
Brown cargo pants and a navy blue tank with white polka dots.

Whats for dinner?
Twizzlers and a Pepsi from the vending machine. I was at work during dinner time.

What would you eat for your last meal?
My momma's homemade spaghetti and meatballs. Shes Italian and makes the best sauce ever! Seriously I'm drooling just thinking about it.

What's the last thing you bought?
This cute tote from Ching's Tote Shop to carry all of my stuffs to and from work everyday.

What are you listening to right now?
Spongebob. woo.

What is your favorite ice-cream flavor?
Good old fashioned vanilla. But I'm quite fond of the apple pie kind from Cold Stone too.

What do you think of the person who tagged you?
I used to love her before she put me through the cruel and unusual torture of taking this long survey!! hehe, just kidding! I love Marisa!!

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?
Tough call. I'd be greedy and have two. An awesome flat overlooking Central Park in NYC, complete with a fancy doorman and also a cottage in the Welsh countryside overlooking castle ruins. I have to have my mixture of hustle and bustle and simplicity.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Curled up in my bed. I allow myself the extravagance of really fancy high thread count sheets and a fancy duvet. At the end of a long and tiresome day I need my little piece of heaven!

Which language do you want to learn?
I know a little bit of French, I'd like to actually learn it completely.

What is your favorite quote?
I have three that I love and could never pick just one. If you read my blog though, I'm sure that you've already seen two of them on the sidebars, so I'll just post the third one :)

"She walks in beauty,
like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes"

- Lord Byron

What is your favorite color?
Yellow. Its understated but cheery, kinda like me.

What is your favorite piece of clothing in your wardrobe?
Probably my short sleeved black cardigan that I got from JC Penney's a little bit ago. It dresses up all of my tank tops and lets me wear them in Spring and Fall as well as summer. Gotta love those classic transitional pieces!

What is your dream job?
Mattress Tester. Seriously.

If you could invent any useful invention, what would it be?
Weight loss pills that actually work and allow me to not have to exercise at all and eat whatever goodies I want. Liposuction in a bottle baby!

If you had $100 now, what would you spend it on?
Oh man! Either a shirt from Lirola or a wrap from moocow.

Describe your personal style?
Comfy and relaxed but feminine. I run around after two rambunctious boys all day long, I don't do short skirts and stilettos.

What is your favorite TV show?
I don't watch TV really except for cartoons. Probably old Roseanne reruns on TV Land or Good Eats on the Food Network.

What are you going to do after this?
Bury my nose into a book. The kiddos are in bed, the husband is working late and I'm going to relish in a bit of quiet time and wind down from a long day

What are your favorite movies?
Love Actually (I have a huge crush on both Alan Rickman and Colin Firth, what can I say), What Dreams May Come and Almost Famous

What's your favorite fruit?
Oranges. Love em!

If you could swap lives with someone famous, who would it be?
Whatever chick is banging Robert Pattinson at the moment.

Your favorite books?
The Bell Jar, Eat Pray Love, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, and A Mighty Heart

Are you a home body or do you prefer to be out?
I'm a total homebody. I don't really do people, thus why I love the Internet. And unless its really important I'm not dragging a 6 year old and a screaming 2 year old out of the house.

Polka Dots or checks?
Seeing as I'm wearing a polka dot shirt today, I'll go with that

Favorite candy?
Toss up between Bottlecaps, Sour Patch Kids, and Cherry Laffy Taffy.

Do you collect something?
Vintage tea cups. I could care less if they are actually worth anything or not, I just think they're pretty and sophisticated.

Wooooo! I'm all done! If you have finished reading this and you feel so compelled hop on over to Marisa's Blog by clicking here and print out the fun little certificate of completion that she created for you. Just cross out Marisa Hopkins and write in Amanda Gindlesperger. :)

And now to be horrid and mean and torture someone else by tagging them as well
Eh, who and I kidding, I'm not going to tag anyone. I'm being rebellious here, so feel free to fill out the survey if you want to and consider yourself tagged :)

Holly got me, so we managed to spread the love all around! Thumbs up to Cheese Its and Coldstone Ice Cream. I'd take either right about now.

Seriously, isn't that a grueling survey? I feel mean doling that punishment out on friends!!

Love your answers! And if you ever want to roam the Welsh countryside with me, let me know. All of Will's friends and family are there... overlooking castle ruins. We'd be there with you in a heartbeat!!

And Robert Pattinson... yum.

I just thought you should know that I nearly spit the drink out of my mouth upon reading that.

And that Rob Pattinson is a major babe. =)
