Seeing Green

I've come to the realization that there are two types of mothers out there in the world. The ones that have to constantly keep their kids clean and tidy (aka the neurotic ones) and the ones who laugh when a huge mess is abound.

I find myself as the latter of the two.

So this Easter as my son walks around with a green hand I'll be smiling :)
(And making obvious Hulk references!)

And then there are the neurotic slobs, like me. My kids are constantly covered in old food stains and mud, but their hair is never without a cute hair clip.

I hope I'm not setting them up for being made fun of their whole life.

I do think Hulk hands are pretty awesome, so he's a lucky guy! :)

I try and sit back and let the mess fly....I am constantly trying to remind my husband they are just kids and what does it hurt...?

You should have seen my husbands face when I blew bubbles in the kitchen!! (btw...gymboree makes the BEST bubbles...they last forever!)

I have kids with "hulk" hands too. Those egg dipper things never work. It's so much easier to just dunk it! Hope that you and your family have a Happy Easter.

Too cute! Thankfully, it's moments like this that make for great conversation and stories when they get older. They'll love reminiscing on these days.

Happy Easter!
