When Life Hands You Lemons

Its funny how things work out. Last week I was resolved to take a side step when it came to my etsy shop. I was tired of the renewing game and the amounting etsy fees and the lack of sales and so I was determined to just let things be for awhile in my shop and focus on the holidays with my family. And to my surprise, when I logged into etsy today I had over $100 in sales. All of which will be applied to Christmas I'm sure! What a blessing.

So now, as indecisive as I am, I feel the need to make some new things again and restock my shop with a few new journals. But again, I'm not planning any major shop overhauls until after the holidays. I'm still undecided about the direction that I want to go in, but I do have a renewed faith in the things that I make and why it is that I love making them in the first place!

In other news, today is Gage's birthday! My baby boy is 2, no longer a baby. We've already celebrated the boys' birthdays with a party, so tonight we're celebrating with Gages favorite baby duckling, and watching Wonder Pets Christmas Carol on tv tonight while I begin the week long process that is making Christmas cookies.

Happy Monday everyone!

Aw, happy birthday Gage! Annelie will be 2 next month. Hard to think of the littlest as not being babies anymore, isn't it?

Yay for you and your shop sales! Its funny, because sometimes I wont have any sales so I renew and renew... and nothing still. And sometimes, I just let my shop sit and then BAM I wake up to loads of sales. I wish things were more consistent!!

Congrats for your sales! And happy birthday, Gage!

I'm tired of playing the renewing game too. So, I've only been listing when I've got something new.
